Eligibility
Open to any flutist enrolled in a degree program and studying flute at one of the following schools during the 2009 Fall semester:
- Berklee College of Music
- Boston Conservatory of Music
- Boston University
- Longy School of Music
- New England Conservatory of Music

Preliminary Audition Round
The screened preliminary auditions will be held Sunday, November 14th, 2010

Additional Information
Upon receipt of the application, contestants will be assigned to audition blocks. Specific audition times and order will be determined by lottery the day of the audition.
- Warm-up rooms will be provided 15 minutes prior to the contestants’ audition times.
- Please bring an official form of identification.
- Contestants should refrain from any noise in the audition hall. Talking and/or warming-up inside the audition hall could lead to disqualification. It is suggested that contestants wear soft soled shoes.
- All auditions will be recorded. Contestants will receive a CD of their own auditions, as well as the judges comments.
- Finalists will be contacted via telephone the night of the audition or early the following morning.
- Each candidate will receive a recording of their Preliminary audition with the judges comments for educational purposes.
Final Round
The Final Round will be held Sunday, January 30, 2011 at 7:00 p.m.
